Rawalpindi: Political and social leader Chaudhry Inam Zafar said Kashmir Solidarity Day, being observed today (February 5), symbolises Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination and their struggle against Indian occupation, says a press release.

He stated that the day honors the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs, highlights ongoing human rights violations in Indian-occupied Kashmir, and reaffirms Pakistan’s political, moral, and diplomatic backing.

Zafar added that the observance promotes national unity and sends a clear message that Kashmiris are not alone. He urged the international community and the United Nations to ensure a just resolution of the dispute in line with UN resolutions, reaffirming that Pakistan will always stand with the people of Kashmir.
