KARACHI: The latest episode of Pakistan’s most popular music reality show, Pakistan Idol, brought intense drama as a double elimination shook the competition. In Saturday’s episode, young singers Rohan Abbas and Minaam were voted out, while public support secured another chance for Samia Gohar to stay in the contest. In the previous episode, the Bottom Three contestants included Samia Gohar, Minaam, and Rohan Abbas. Once the voting results were revealed, Samia was declared safe, leaving Rohan and Minaam to bid farewell to the show. During the emotional exit, Rohan Abbas expressed heartfelt sentiments, saying, “My journey on Pakistan Idol has come to an end. Neither I nor my supporters expected it to finish so soon. But I believe my voice is my true identity. I have performed in both India and Pakistan, and I have always aimed to bring joy to people through my voice.” He thanked all his fans, voters, and those raising their voices on social media against his elimination, promis ing to continue creating good music for his supporters.
