The Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) has directed all its recognised medical and dental colleges across the country to prominently display all the notifications, decisions, circulars and directives issued by it from time to time.
According to an official communication issued on January 29, principals and deans of medical and dental institutions have been instructed to ensure strict compliance with the PMDC’s regulations, policies and decisions.
The PMDC has emphasised that all the relevant notifications and directives must be displayed on official notice boards installed at prominent and easily accessible locations within institutional premises.
The directive states that the information should be made available for the awareness of students, medical and dental practitioners, faculty members and administrative staff. Institutions have also been advised to encourage stakeholders to regularly visit the official PMDC website to stay informed about the latest updates and notifications.
The PMDC has stressed that such information must remain clearly visible, regularly updated and readily accessible at all times. Its officials said the measure is aimed at improving transparency, regulatory compliance and awareness within medical and dental institutions.
