A fire broke out on Saturday afternoon at a cardboard factory in Nazimabad No. 4, sending thick smoke into the sky and prompting emergency responders to rush to the scene.

According to fire brigade officials, seven fire trucks and rescue teams arrived to control the blaze, which was mainly raging on the first floor of the factory. Rescue teams worked to contain the flames while ensuring the safety of nearby residents and workers. Authorities urged citizens to stay away from the area due to the heavy smoke and ongoing fire. No casualties were reported.

Firefighters later said they had brought the blaze under control. Initial reports suggested the fire may have been caused by a short circuit; however, authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the fire.
