BARA: Three children lost their lives and other people sustained injuries in separate incidents in Bara tehsil of Khyber tribal district on Thursday, sources said.According to reports, an internally displaced persons (IDPs) vehicle coming from Maidan in Tirah Valley plunged into a deep ravine in the Dwatoi area during the early hours.
Two children, two-year-old Amina and 12-year-old Hafeezullah, died on the spot, while their parents, Rangeen Khan and his wife, were injured. Residents and Rescue 1122 teams reached the site, recovered the bodies, and rescued the injured. The injured were shifted to Hayatabad Medical Complex for treatment.
In a separate incident, a minor named Hassan died when a room of his house collapsed in the Shalobar area of Bara tehsil. Residents informed Rescue 1122, who retrieved the body from the debris. A third incident occurred in the Takhtkai area of Tirah, where a pick-up vehicle fell into a ditch. The driver sustained serious injuries and was shifted for medical treatment.
