PESHAWAR: A trophy unveiling ceremony of the Celebrity Cricket League was held at Governor’s House Peshawar on Thursday. Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi unveiled the Celebrity Cricket League trophy at Governor’s House Peshawar on Thursday.
Team captains, players, youth representatives and artists from across the province were present on the occasion.The ceremony was attended by the league’s organizer Dr Hamza Jamshed, president Abaseen Yousafzai, Director Sports Islamia College Peshawar Muhammad Ali Hoti, as well as poets, artists, and a large number of participants from different walks of life. On the occasion, the Governor also distributed shields among the sponsors of the Celebrity Cricket League and cricket kits to the team captains.
Addressing the ceremony, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi said that the Celebrity Cricket League, comprising artists, journalists, and youth, is a commendable initiative aimed at projecting the soft image of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
