NHMP holds rank pinning ceremony

Islamabad:The National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) organised a ceremony at Hamid Shakeel Auditorium, Lions Headquarters, here on Thursday in light of the decisions of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) to pinned rank to the officers promoted from Sub-Inspector to Inspector.

A special prayer was offered for the martyrs at the beginning of the ceremony, said a press release. The chief guest of the ceremony was Inspector General Motorway Police Sultan Ahmed Chaudhry.

DIG Headquarters Afzal Ahmed Kausar delivered the welcome address. DIGs, SSPs, families of the promoted inspectors and other senior officers and employees attended the ceremony. IG Motorway Police Sultan Ahmed Chaudhry and the families of the promoted officers pinned rank to the officers newly promoted and congratulated them.

Speaking on the occasion, Sultan Ahmed Chaudhry said that the promotion of the officers is a recognition of their hard work, dedication and excellent professional performance. He expressed the view that the promoted officers will continue to perform their duties with integrity, professionalism and spirit of service and will further enhance the good name of the institution with their practical role. The IG expressed the hope that the promoted officers will further improve traffic discipline and the quality of public facilities with their best strategy and effective efforts.
