ISLAMABAD: Appointments and transfers were made in federal bureaucracy on Wednesday. Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) Grade-22 officer Saadia Sarwat Javed has been appointed as Member of Prime Minister’s Inspection Commission. She was previously serving as an Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Establishment Division.
A Grade-22 PAS officer and Chairman of Pakistan Tobacco Board has been assigned additional charge of Secretary, National Food Security Division. This additional charge will remain in effect for three months or until a permanent appointment is made.
Retirement orders have been issued for Grade-21 Secretariat Group officer Additional Secretary, Establishment Division, Syed Muazzam Ali. He will retire from government service on December 3, 2026.
Deputy Secretary Muhammad Salahuddin has been transferred from Ministry of Defence Production to Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination. Section Officer Muhammad Saad Munir has been transferred from Prime Minister’s Office to Ministry of IT.
