RIYADH: Inauguration ceremony of COLABS Narjis was held in Riyadh, capital of Saudi Arabia.

The ceremony was attended by officials from Pakistan Embassy as well as a large number of Saudi and Pakistani business personalities.

Rakan Al-Rashed and Faisal Al-Rashed participated in the event as chief guests, reports The News correspondent Shahid Naeem.

Pakistan’s Deputy Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Moazzam Ali, said in his address Saudi Arabia is an extremely important country for Pakistani companies, where they can effectively utilise their professional services to further strengthen their international recognition. He said this would also enhance Pakistan’s image and have positive effects on the national economy.

Moazzam Ali further said Saudi Arabia gives special importance to business activities, while relations between public and private sectors of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are moving in a positive direction. He said Pakistani companies can fully benefit from a vast and dynamic market like Saudi Arabia, which will ultimately contribute to stability of Pakistan’s economy.

On this occasion, COLABS CEO Ali Shah said the company’s launch in Saudi Arabia is part of its regional expansion. According to him, COLABS provides a shared working environment for individuals from various sectors.

Discussions were also held on investment, startup ecosystem, and business linkages between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

At the end, a networking session was held where participants exchanged views on mutual connections and potential collaborations.
