PHOOLNAGAR: A journalist, who worked for a local newspapers, was stabbed to death on Monday here. The suspect killer has been arrested.
Jamil Gujar, a resident of Bilalpura, was following a dispute with a neighbour, police said. Sajid Sheikh who also lives in the same neighbourhood. According to police, the two had a verbal altercation earlier, which later turned deadly. The journalist died on the spot due to severe injuries. Upon receiving information, police rushed to the scene and arrested the accused and registered a case on the complaint of the victim’s widow. Local journalists and social activists have condemned the killing and called for swift justice.
