Rawalpindi: Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Engineer Amir Khattak said that the e-Biz Portal and E-FOAS system have been introduced to improve governance, increase transparency and make the delivery of public services more effective.
This system should be implemented in all departments as soon as possible. Digital systems will simplify office affairs and this will significantly reduce manual work and make service delivery more effective. As per the instructions of the Chief Minister of Punjab and the chief secretary of Punjab, public services of all government departments will be provided through the e-Biz Portal, which aims to save citizens from unnecessary visits to government offices, ensure saving of time and resources and promote paperless governance.
This initiative will be an important step towards promoting digitalisation, transparency and accountability across the province. He expressed these views while addressing the participants of the training session held at the Commissioner Office, Rawalpindi yesterday for the launch of the e-Biz Portal and E-FOAS system.
The commissioner directed that the participants be provided complete awareness about this system in the training session so that its 100 percent implementation is also ensured in all line departments. It can be ensured that the full adoption of modern planning tools and digital systems will ensure transparency, efficiency and high quality of work.
