LAHORE:Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the killing of a man and his two sons whose bodies were found inside a house in the Central Park area of Kahna.
According to police, the decomposed bodies were recovered late Friday from a residence in the area. The victims were identified as Numan, 65, and his two sons, Kamran, 35, and Imran, 30. Police said the bodies were around 20 days old at the time of recovery.
Initial investigations suggested that all three had been murdered, as the bodies were found in a deteriorated condition, indicating foul play. The discovery triggered an extensive investigation, with police collecting forensic evidence and questioning individuals linked to the family.
Police claimed to have resolved the case with the arrest of the prime suspect, identified as Roheel, a friend of one of the victims, Kamran. Investigators said the suspect allegedly killed the father and his two sons over a financial dispute. According to police officials, the suspect owed Kamran approximately Rs3 million. When the family repeatedly demanded repayment of the money, an argument ensued which eventually led to the killings.
