LAHORE: The ‘Mera Pyara’ team of the Punjab Safe Cities Authority’s Virtual Centre for Child Safety has reunited a child missing for 15 years with his parents.
According to details, the child, identified as Ramzan, went missing from Gujranwala in March 2010. He was found in Lahore in an unattended condition and later shifted to an Edhi Foundation centre.
The ‘Mera Pyara’ team recorded his video interview and launched a social media awareness campaign using his old photograph. During the campaign, a relative identified the child.The family confirmed that he was Ramzan, son of M Iqbal, who had been missing since 2010.
