RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan armed forces are gearing up to meet the evolving demands of modern warfare through comprehensive training and readiness for Multi-Domain Operations (MDOs), the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Saturday.
The ISPR also released a video showcasing the armed forces’ preparedness and operational capabilities in conducting integrated military operations across multiple domains.
The military media wing says the Multi-Domain Operations involve the coordinated and simultaneous use of air, land and cyber capabilities against the enemy to achieve decisive battlefield superiority. The military’s media wing stated that electronic warfare plays a key role in MDOs and is employed under a unified strategy to disrupt and neutralise enemy systems.
Through the coordinated use of air superiority and multi-role drones, enemy movement is effectively restricted and rendered impossible. The integrated employment of long-range precision weapons further limits the adversary’s ability to manoeuvre or respond effectively.
ISPR said that destructive firepower, combined with cyber and information operations, is used to paralyse the enemy’s decision-making process. These measures significantly degrade the opponent’s command, control and communication capabilities, reducing their ability to respond to fast-changing battlefield situations.
The statement described Multi-Domain Operations as the best example of joint warfare, where air and ground forces operate in close coordination to dismantle and destroy enemy defences. With the use of destructive bombardment and cyber and information operations, the decision making of enemy is also paralyzed. The locally produced weapons and latest drones in Pakistan are used in well-coordinated manner in operations. Such operations reflect a modern approach to warfare, requiring seamless integration of multiple combat domains.
According to ISPR, the exercises conducted by the Pakistan Armed Forces demonstrate the effective use of advanced technology, overwhelming firepower and highly accurate targeting capabilities. These drills highlight the professional competence, operational readiness and combat efficiency of the armed forces. The military media wing added that these exercises are a clear reflection of Pakistan Armed Forces’ commitment to maintaining a high state of preparedness and adapting to contemporary and future security challenges. The ability to conduct Multi-Domain Operations has become a defining feature of modern militaries, and Pakistan’s armed forces continue to strengthen their capabilities in line with global military developments.
