HARIPUR: Unidentified assailants gunned down a lawyer in the limits of Khalabat Township Police Station here on Saturday, police officials said.
Officials said Inyatullah Khan Advocate was on the way to home when three unidentified assailants riding a motorcar intercepted him near the shrine of Abid Sha and opened fire, killing him on the spot. According to police records, the slain lawyer who hailed from village Chohar Sharif, was one of the nominated accused in the murder case of a police constable.
