LAHORE: The wedding celebrations of Junaid Safdar, son of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and grandson of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, began with mehndi ceremony at Jati Umra, and pictures from the event have gone viral on social media.
A large number of guests attended the ceremony. Junaid shared pictures of himself and his bride-to-be, Shanze Ali Rohail, on social media, while Senior Minister Marriyum Aurengzeb also shared the photos with media representatives.
In the pictures, the CM appeared in traditional attire, wearing a heavily embroidered gold-and-yellow dress reflecting eastern wedding traditions. Her outfit featured intricate gota work, delicate embroidery, and exquisite carvings, complemented by a beautifully draped dupatta with brightly embroidered edges.
