ISLAMABAD: Appointments and transfers have been made in the federal bureaucracy.
According to an official notification issued by the Establishment Division, OSD Usman Yaqoob Khan, a Grade-21 officer of Secretariat Group, has been appointed as Senior Joint Secretary in Water Resources Division. Muhammad Yahya Akhunzada, a Grade-20 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, currently serving as Joint Secretary in Economic Affairs Division, has been transferred and appointed as Additional Secretary, Prime Minister’s Office. This appointment has been made under Section 10 of Civil Servants Act, 1973, and will take effect immediately.
The notification said Deputy Secretary Abdul Karim Rind has been transferred from the Establishment Division to Poverty Alleviation Division, while services of Muhammad Hashim Shah, a Grade-18 officer of Office Management Group, who was posted on deputation with Government of Balochistan, have been withdrawn and placed at the disposal of Establishment Division.
