BANNU: Four people were shot dead by armed assailants in the Gulbadeen Landi Dakk area of Bannu.

According to police, all the victims were traveling in the same vehicle when armed men lying in wait opened indiscriminate fire on the automobile. As a result of the firing, Naseeb, his son Hamid, Imran alias Ziaullah and Bismillah died on the spot. All the victims were relatives.

Complainant Wali Rehman, son of Masal Khan, got a first information report (FIR) registered at the Huweid Police Station. He said his relatives were heading toward the bazaar in their private car when unknown assailants killed them on the way.
