The Punjab government has launched electric buses for eco-friendly transportation. This initiative has been praised by many due to it being free for students and senior citizens. Buses also come on time, helping thousands of people reach their destinations for no or less money. But an issue that I feel should be noted is that the number of buses are too few relative to the number of passengers. This leads to overcrowded buses. The initiative is great and also combats carbon emissions but if the number of buses and/or seats are increased, it would help the people a lot.
