Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi is due to arrive in Karachi Friday (today) for a three-day visit to Sindh, during which a series of political, organisational, and public outreach activities have been scheduled.
Details of the visit were shared by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sindh President Haleem Adil Sheikh at a recent press conference at theInsaf House, Karachi. Addressing the media, Sheikh said PTI Chairman Imran Khan has entrusted KP CM with the responsibility of conveying his clear and unequivocal message directly to the people.
As part of this mandate, the chief minister will visit Sindh from 9 to 11 January, with a focus on grassroots mobilisation through street movements across major cities. According to the announced programme, the KP CM will arrive at the Karachi airport on Friday morning and proceed in a rally to the Insaf House, where he will meet party leaders and delegations. His Karachi engagements include meetings with traders at the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, a Meet the Press at the Karachi Press Club, and street movements in the South, Korangi, and Malir districts of the city.
On January 10 (Saturday), he will travel to Hyderabad, addressing the Hyderabad High Court Bar and Press Club, meeting intellectuals, journalists, and farmers, and participating in party and youth conventions. Organisational meetings and public street movements are also planned in Hyderabad before his return to Karachi.
