KARACHI: Gold prices increased by Rs3,200 per tola on Tuesday in the local market following an increase in the international rates.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association stated that 24-karat gold rates reached Rs467,962 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs2,743 to Rs401,201.
Gold rates increased by $32 to $4,456 per ounce in the international market.Typically, gold prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.Silver rates increased by Rs338 to Rs8,361 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also rose by Rs290 to Rs7,168.
