BARA: The male guest house and home of Awami National Party (ANP) Khyber district President Abdur Raziq Afridi was blown up in the Maidan area of Tirah Valley on Monday, sources said.Local sources reported that explosive materials had been planted there which were detonated, causing a massive explosion that destroyed all rooms of the house. Speaking to the media, Abdur Raziq Afridi said this was the second attack on his residence by militants.
He recalled that militants had set fire to his house a year ago, destroying furniture and other valuable items. “Now, the militants have planted explosive devices, causing huge explosions that ruined all rooms and walls,” he explained, adding that he is a peaceful political worker striving for a stable environment.
