KOHAT: On the directives of Regional Police Officer (RPO) Kohat, Abbas Majeed Marwat, District Police Officer (DPO) Karak Saud Khan on Friday distributed cheques worth millions of rupees among serving and retired cops for the marriages of their daughters.
Speaking on the occasion, RPO said that the Police Department never abandoned its officials and personnel. He said that the force considered its members as part of one family and stood by them in times of hardship as well as happiness. The RPO added that the welfare of the police force was a top priority of the department, and ensuring respect, facilitation, and support for both serving and retired officers and personnel was its responsibility.
District Police Officer Saud Khan said that keeping in view the hard work and sacrifices of police personnel, the department was taking effective and practical steps for the welfare of police officials and their families.
