ISLAMABAD: PMLN Senator-elect Abid Sher Ali Thursday claimed that PTI founder Imran Khan was enjoying himself in Adiala Jail.
He suggested that he should be thrown into Sibi Jail or handcuffed and kept in four walls of Attock Fort for months, like Nawaz Sharif, so that he could know what prison was indeed.
While talking to the media outside the Election Commission here, he also strongly condemned the widely-slammed removal of a lady’s veil in India and said cruel people lay hands on daughters and sisters.
He said that protests are held in the dark of night to meet the founder of PTI, while criminals are met during the day. “In case any incident happens in the dark of night, it is the responsibility of the government to stop it; if there is an incident of terrorism, who will be responsible,” he questioned.
Abid Sher said that one could not meet a prisoner in jail every day. He contended that other prisoners did not get a home-cooked chicken or exercise facilities, whereas Imran Khan had five rooms, where he exercises; he was, in fact, enjoying himself in jail.
