Karachi is widely recognised as the main economic hub of Pakistan. The city drives national economic activities through its trade operations, industrial activities and job market.
However, the city also faces significant problems such as traffic congestion, environmental pollution and inadequate infrastructure. While the city has been able to maintain its economic position despite these issues, it would greatly benefit from enhanced planning efforts.
