It is the responsibility of the state to provide a good life to its citizens. But, unfortunately, the Pakistani state has failed to live up to this obligation. There is food insecurity. Unemployment is at its peak. Terrorism remains a threat and poverty and insufficient education continue to be problems.
We have failed to capitalise on our immense demographic and geographical potential. While Pakistani possesses many great qualities, it is unable to benefit from them due to poor governance. This has to change if we are to progress as a country.
