The report of fake electricity billing of more than one hundred million rupees in Pakistan Railways is shocking. It shows how easily public money can disappear when no one checks anything. If state officials can end up paying bogus bills, then it is clear that the same malfeasance can harm common people even more.
I strongly urge the government to take strict action against those involved in this scandal and bring every person involved to justice. We need real audits and real accountability.
