PESHAWAR: Show-cause notices have been issued to 25 members of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) district organization for failing to bring the required number of workers to the rally which was staged on December 7.
According to the notices, the office-bearers concerned failed to ensure the presence of workers at the rally venue.It said the district-level office-bearers did not comply with party directives, the show-cause notices state.
All the relevant members were directed to submit their explanations within three days, as per the notices. Disciplinary action will be taken in case of failure to provide a satisfactory explanation.The party sources said several office-bearers had tendered resignations after the issuance of the notices.
