Islamabad:The probationary officers and faculty of the 48th Specialised Training Program (STP) of the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) undertook a study visit to the Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Tuesday.
Member Administration Talat Mehmood, Member Environment Esfandyar Baloch, Member Finance Tahir Naeem along with other senior officers welcomed the faculty and probationary officers at the CDA Headquarters.
Probationary officers were briefed on the administrative structure of CDA, functions and operations of its various wings. The officers were given detailed briefing about the implementation of the Islamabad Master Plan and Zoning Regulations of the Federal Capital, Islamabad, regarding their role in urban planning. They were briefed on the beautification of the Federal Capital, development projects, sector development and various other initiatives. Talat Mehmood said that work is also underway on establishing a modern solid waste management system and a scientific landfill site in the capital.
