Court initiates proceedings to declare Gandapur fugitive

ISLAMABAD:The court of Judicial Magistrate Mubashir Hassan Chishti has initiated proceedings to declare former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur a fugitive owing to his continuous non-appearance in the alleged liquor and illegal arms recovery case.

Despite court summons, Ali Amin Gandapur failed to appear during the hearing on Saturday. The court upheld the arrest warrant issued against him for his persistent non-appearance, initiated proceedings to declare him a fugitive, and adjourned the hearing of the case till 5 January. A case has been registered against Ali Amin Gandapur at Bara Kahu police station.
