ISLAMABAD: Capital Police executed a late-night operation, detaining dozens of individuals in a massive crackdown on massage centres in a prominent residential tower in F-11 Markaz.
Responding to mounting public complaints, police authorities directed a swift and targeted crackdown. The operation was led by the zonal police officer, with raiding teams acting on specific information provided by the tower's residents.
Police sources confirmed that the teams simultaneously raided approximately seven such illegal establishments, taking dozens of men and women into custody found in objectionable circumstances.
The detained individuals were immediately transferred to local police stations for further investigation. The Shalimar Police Station has registered seven separate cases against those involved, citing sections 294 (Obscene acts) and 188 (Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) of the PPC.
Sources within the police have indicated that the inquiry is set to widen significantly. Further arrests are expected, specifically targeting the operators and facilitators of these establishments.
