*Grave of the Fireflies

Rescheduled from last month’s calendar, the Alhamra Film Club presents a screening of Grave of the Fireflies, based on a 1967 semi-autobiographical short story by Japanese author Akiyuki Nosaka. This animated movie is said to be a “devastating meditation on the human cost of war.”
