LAHORE:Police have registered a murder case against three nominated suspects after a 30-year old man was shot dead in the North Cantonment area.

The victim was identified as Abdul Rehman. According to the FIR, filed on the complaint of the deceased’s brother, two unidentified motorcyclists opened indiscriminate fire on Abdul Rehman, killing him.

According to the FIR, the suspects had allegedly been pressuring the complainant’s family to stop pursuing certain legal cases and had issued threats in this regard. Police are examining these allegations as part of the investigation.

Meanwhile, relatives of the deceased staged a protest in the Ghousia Park area of Saddar, placing the body on the road and demanding the immediate arrest of the accused.
