Wahi Pandhi is one of Dadu District’s most productive agricultural centres and has made notable progress in education, business and infrastructure over the years. Despite this progress, several longstanding problems continue to affect the lives of local residents. Incidents of theft and robbery are common, while the sale of drugs and illegal logging remain serious concerns. The town also lacks adequate healthcare facilities, forcing many people to travel to other cities for medical treatment. The absence of a reliable gas supply for domestic use and electricity loadshedding that often exceeds 20 hours a day have added to the difficulties faced by residents. These issues have persisted for years despite repeated demands for improvement.

The government and elected representatives should take practical steps to improve law and order, strengthen healthcare services and ensure the provision of basic utilities.
