ISLAMABAD: The prime minister has approved the appointment of Brigadier (retd) Alamgir Ayub as Director General Military Wing, Cabinet Division, on a four-month contract, effective from May 1, 2026. According to official sources, Postal Group officer Samiullah Khan, a BS-22 officer awaiting posting, has been placed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD).
Similarly, Secretariat Group BS-21 officer Muhammad Riazuddin Khan, also awaiting posting, has been made OSD. The Establishment Division has issued formal notifications regarding the transfers and postings.
