Sindh Senior Minister for Information and Transport Sharjeel Inam Memon has congratulated Advocate Amjad Hussain on his election as the Gilgit-Baltistan chief minister.
In his statement issued to the media on Monday, Memon said the success of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in Gilgit-Baltistan was a reflection of the people’s trust and the tireless efforts and struggle of party workers and activists.
He said the success represented public confidence in the PPP’s people-friendly vision and democratic struggle. Memon expressed the hope that Advocate Amjad Hussain would play an effective role in the development, prosperity and resolution of public issues in Gilgit-Baltistan.
He said the PPP had always played its role by advocating for the rights of the people, strengthening democracy and raising the voice of the underprivileged segments of society, and would continue its journey of public service in the future as well.
