RAWALPINDI:Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) welcomed Hashaam Sarwar, CEO of Innovista, along with his team for a productive meeting with Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Bushra Mirza aimed at exploring opportunities to empower female students through digital skills, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
During the meeting, both sides discussed potential avenues of collaboration to enhance students' employability, entrepreneurial capabilities, and participation in the digital economy. A major highlight of the visit was announcement of an exclusive eight-week internship program for FJWU students, providing them with practical exposure, professional mentorship, and hands-on experience in emerging fields.
In another significant development, the CEO announced a Rs1 million prize for the winning startup idea under the exclusive InnoCollab Program, a startup incubation initiative being launched specifically for FJWU students.
The program aims to foster innovation, encourage entrepreneurial thinking and support students in developing sustainable business ventures. Speaking on the occasion, the VC appreciated commitment to youth empowerment and women's economic participation.
She expressed that; "At Fatima Jinnah Women University, we are committed to create opportunities that equip our students with future-ready skills and entrepreneurial mindsets.
