Islamabad: Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan Wednesday visited the Guangda Electric Vehicle (EV) Training Base to review advanced training facilities and explore opportunities for enhancing technical skills development in the electric mobility sector.
Mashhood toured state-of-the-art EV training laboratories and workshops where experts showcased cutting-edge technical equipment, industrial simulators and automated systems designed to support the growing electric vehicle industry. He interacted with trainers, technical specialists and students to gain insight into the latest developments in EV technology and vocational education.
The chairman highlighted the importance of hands-on technical training and industry-relevant skills in preparing Pakistani youth for the future workforce. He emphasised that emerging sectors such as electric mobility present significant opportunities for employment, entrepreneurship, and technological advancement.
The visit also underscored the strengthening cooperation between Pakistan and China in the fields of vocational training, youth empowerment, innovation and technology transfer. Both sides expressed their commitment to expanding collaboration aimed at equipping young people with the skills needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving global economy.
He said the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme remained committed to fostering international partnerships that promote skill development, innovation and sustainable economic growth, ensuring that Pakistan’s youth are well-positioned to contribute to the country’s future development and the transition toward clean and modern transportation solutions.
