Lineman dies while restoring power supply

LAHORE:Muhammad Anwar, a lineman of the Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco), was electrocuted while restoring electricity supply during severe weather.His funeral was attended by leaders of All Pakistan Hydro Electric Workers Union including Khurshid Ahmad and Ramzan Butt, along with officials and workers. Khurshid Ahmad demanded safety measures, compensation for the family, a job for the deceased’s son, and an inquiry into the incident.
