FCC full court meeting discusses administrative, judicial matters

ISLAMABAD: A full court meeting of the Federal Constitutional Court (FCC) held on Thursday under the chairmanship of Chief Justice Aminuddin Khan and discussed various administrative, judicial and operational matters ahead of court’s summer vacation beginning.

The meeting was attended by all judges of the court along with the FCC registrar. The meeting undertook a comprehensive review of the court’s institutional performance and progress achieved during its first six months of operation.

The chief justice appreciated the dedication and professionalism demonstrated by the officers and staff of the court in ensuring efficient functioning of the newly-established constitutional institution.

The CJ highlighted the importance of aligning the Federal Constitutional Court with internationally recognised best practices adopted by leading constitutional and apex courts around the world.
