KARACHI: Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan (DIB Pakistan) has introduced a new brand identity across its branch network, marking what it described as the next phase of its strategic and digital development after two decades of operations in the country.
The rebranding aligns the bank more closely with its parent, Dubai Islamic Bank (UAE), and reflects its positioning as an Islamic financial institution with a broader regional outlook, according to a statement issued on Monday.
The updated identity includes a redesigned logo combining the DIB wordmark with a ‘Globus’ symbol, which the bank said represents its global Islamic banking outlook. The design incorporates a stylised globe and Islamic geometric motifs, alongside green, gold and burgundy colour elements.
Chief Executive Officer Muhammad Ali Gulfaraz said the rebranding reflects the bank’s long-term direction and focus on growth, technology adoption and financial inclusion. As part of the update, the new branding has been rolled out at branches, including at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi, and across digital platforms. The bank has also introduced a redesigned mobile banking application aimed at enhancing digital services for customers.
