KP Bar Council grants licences to 80 lawyers

PESHAWAR: The Enrolment Committee of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council has granted licences to over 80 lawyers from various districts of the province, enabling them to practice before district and lower courts.

The committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of Justice Ijaz Anwar, Senior Puisne Judge of the Peshawar High Court and Chairman of the Enrolment Committee. The KP Bar Council members Babar Khan Yousafzai, Saeed Khan and Fazal Wahid advocate also attended the session.

During the meeting, the committee conducted interviews of aspiring lawyers and, after evaluating their qualifications and suitability, approved the issuance of licences to 80 candidates for practice in the lower courts.

On the occasion, Justice Ijaz Anwar asked the candidates various legal and professional questions.
