KARACHI: Gold prices decreased by Rs1,469 per tola in the local market on Friday following a decline in the international market.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, 24-karat gold rates reached Rs467,816 per tola.Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold dropped by Rs1,323 to Rs401,012.
Gold rates decreased by $14.68 to $4,453.81 per ounce in the international market. Prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.Silver rates decreased by 67 to Rs7,730 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also dropped by Rs61 to Rs6,623.
