Court grants interim bail to five fraudsters

Rawalpindi : The Additional District and Sessions Judge, Rawalpindi Khurshid Ahmed Anjum has accepted interim bail of five people they defrauded millions of rupees in the name of committee. The court has accepted interim bail of five accused till June 9, 2026.

Police have registered a case against five people who defrauded millions of rupees in the name of a committee. The case was registered on the order of the court in the complaint of an affected citizen Umair Ali. The accused named in the case have obtained interim bail from the court.

According to the details, Umair Ali had filed a petition in the court of Additional Sessions Judge Khurshid Ahmed Anjum through the mediation of Waheed Nawaz Janjua Advocate that Ghulam Abbas, Ali Ashtar, Muhammad Intisar, Aun Mustafa and Muhammad Owais had set up an office in the name of Earth Electronics in Sadiqabad area of Rawalpindi and a lucky committee worth Rs8.8 million was placed in the said office.

The said persons closed their office in February this year and went into hiding.

The plaintiff in the petition, the court requested the court to register a case of fraud against the above-mentioned persons.

The court ordered to register a case against the above-mentioned persons. On the order of the court, a case has been registered against five accused in Sadiqabad police station, while the accused have obtained interim bail from the court till June 9. The next hearing of the case will be held on June 9.
