LAHORE:A divisional meeting was held under the chairpersonship of Commissioner Lahore Division Marryam Khan regarding the anti-dengue review.
The meeting reviewed dengue surveillance and dengue users in Lahore, Nankana, Kasur and Sheikhupura. The deputy commissioners of all four districts gave a briefing. They informed in the briefing that 100% anti-dengue surveillance was ongoing in every district, dengue teams are present in the field. So far this year, 18,030 dengue larvae have been destroyed in the provincial capital and more surveillance was underway.
Commissioner Lahore said that no death due to dengue virus has been reported in Lahore Division so far in 2026. Six positive cases of dengue have been reported in Lahore and 3,036 suspected cases have been reported.
