ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held a meeting with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Governor Faisal Karim Kundi to deliberate on the law and order situation alongside other matters of mutual concern within the province.
During their dialogue, both dignitaries reviewed the ongoing counter-terrorism operations throughout Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Governor Kundi extensively briefed the interior minister regarding the contemporary security challenges currently confronting the province.
Minister Naqvi and Governor Kundi paid a profound tribute to the security forces for executing highly successful, intelligence-based operations against the terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan. They also solemnly honored the martyrs who bravely laid down their lives during the ongoing war against terrorism.
“The immense sacrifices made by our security forces to establish lasting peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa remain entirely unforgettable,” Mohsin Naqvi said.
The minister firmly assured the governor of the federal government’s absolute commitment toward ensuring sustainable peace and stability across KP. He emphasized that the federal administration is fully cooperating with the provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to maintain public order and completely eliminate the menace of terrorism.
