KARACHI: Gold prices increased by Rs4,600 per tola on Tuesday in the local market following an increase in the international market.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association stated that 24-karat gold rates reached Rs476,362 per tola.Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs3,944 to Rs408,403.
Gold rates increased by $46 to $4,540 per ounce in the international market. Typically, gold prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.
Silver rates increased by Rs94 to Rs8,153 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also rose by Rs80 to Rs6,989.
