Islamabad:Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Senator Rubina Khalid, has urged all beneficiaries to obtain their free mobile SIMs before June 15 to avoid any disruption in the payment process.
During the visit, she met women beneficiaries, listened to their concerns, and assured them that their issues would be resolved on a priority basis. She also inspected various sections of the office and reviewed challenges faced by women in receiving their stipends.
She informed that free mobile SIMs are being provided to eligible women to enable them to open digital accounts and receive future payments directly. She added that under the new system, women will be able to withdraw payments from any nearby bank.
