BANNU: The bullet-riddled body of a man who had been abducted five days ago was recovered near Qismatabad Chowk, triggering fear and concern among residents.
The deceased was identified as Israrullah.According to local sources, he was abducted from his hujra by unidentified armed men on May 27. The abductors had allegedly accused him of working for state institutions.
Sources said that after five days, Israrullah’s body was found near Qismatabad Chowk with multiple bullet wounds. Upon receiving information, police reached the site, took custody of the body, completed legal formalities, and later handed it over to the family. An investigation into the incident was launched.
Family members of the deceased demanded the immediate arrest of the culprits and called for justice.Residents of the area expressed deep concern over the incident and urged authorities to improve the law and order situation.
