PESHAWAR: Retired professors of the University of Peshawar (UoP) on Monday staged a protest outside the university’s Administration Block against the non-payment of pensions, the ongoing financial crisis, and the economic difficulties they are facing ahead of Eidul Azha.
The protesters carried placards and banners inscribed with their demands, urging the university administration and the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to immediately release pension funds.
